Origin Story

I started college on the computer science track—drawn to problem solving, reducing unnecessary complexity, and understanding the creative web experiences I grew up with. After taking a college art class, I became deeply interested in how visual communication works, both aesthetically and culturally, and went on to major in visual communication. While working at TransUnion, I completed a data science certification with Northwestern to deepen my technical fluency, strengthen my ability to design for measurable outcomes, and to build on my long-standing curiosity about data and technology.

Strengths and Design Values
  • Systems Thinking & Scale: I’m good at understanding how systems fit together, creating patterns that support variation, and building flexible structures that stay clear as they scale.
  • Visual & Interaction Design: I make complex interfaces clean and intuitive through strong hierarchy and familiar interaction patterns.
  • Analytical Thinking & Technically Fluency: My data science background helps me collaborate with engineers and think through how information flows. I'm comfortable in technical conversations, curious about how things work, and energized by complex logic and domain-heavy challenges.
  • Collaboration & Outcome-Orientation: I enjoy the challenge of summarizing complex ideas into tailored presentations that resonate with diverse audiences—from execs to cross-functional teams. I focus on aligning stakeholders around clear goals and designing with measurable impact in mind.
Me beyond work

I love living in New York City and exploring its neighborhoods, museums, and restaurants — Vietnamese food and pastries, first and foremost. A longtime power Strava user, I’m almost always running, cycling, hiking, or learning volleyball with friends. I also love reading literature for the way it connects me to history and the human spirit.
